About Us
A 130 bedded Peads hospital with 3.7 Acars total area providing preventive and curative health care services to a catchment area of central Quetta city and referral patient from the entire Balochistan and Afghanistan.
Previously its name was Children Hospital Quetta. it was taken over by Health Department in July 2019, and in December 2020, it was declared as Balochistan Institute of Child Health service Quetta (BICHQ).
BICHQ Act 2024 is under review by Government of Balochistan. At present it is under the supervision of an interim Board of Governors, constituted by Government of Balochistan.
