Under the directives of Dr. Sher Afzal Raisani, Provincial Manager of the TB Control Program, Health Department, Government of Balochistan, World TB Day was observed today at the Balochistan Institute of Children’s Health, as it was across the province. The event was led by the institute’s Chief Executive Officer, Professor Dr. Habibullah Babar, along with Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Jamali from the Provincial TB Control Program.
An awareness walk was organized to mark the occasion. Participants included Director Management Dr. Gul Tareen, departmental heads Dr. Attaullah Bizenjo and Dr. Rukhsana Habib, Director of Nursing Ms. Parveen, as well as paramedical and nursing staff, all of whom participated enthusiastically.
At the conclusion of the walk, participants collectively pledged their commitment to eliminating TB, declaring with unity and determination that, “Yes, together we can end TB.” Everyone vowed to take practical steps with passion and dedication toward eradicating the disease. Finally, all participants were thanked for their active involvement.
