World Hemophilia Day (April 17th – World Hemophilia Day)
Today, World Hemophilia Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Hemophilia Welfare Society Balochistan at the Hemophilia Society Children’s Hospital Quetta. The event was held in a remarkable manner, where Professor Dr. Habibullah Babar, Medical Superintendent of Children’s Hospital, Dr. Gul Tareen, General Secretary of Hemophilia Welfare Society Balochistan Madam Ghazala Manzoor, Head of the Pediatric Ward Dr. Attaullah Bizenjo, Child Specialist Dr. Shumail Mandokhail, Dr. Rukhsana, and hemophilia patients Masroor Qasim and Bushra Bibi shared their thoughts.
They expressed their commitment to taking every possible step to ensure the health and recovery of children suffering from hemophilia, emphasizing the importance of timely medical treatment.
Children affected by hemophilia, their parents, doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff also participated in the event.
Indeed, hemophilia is a life-threatening blood disorder with no permanent cure currently available globally. However, it can be managed with timely use of synthetic injections or vaccines.
Professor Dr. Habibullah Babar stated that efforts will continue to prevent and treat this disease so that those affected can lead a better quality of life
